Meet Heidi

Hi y'all! I am Heidi and I am a wife and mama of two who was born, raised, and currently living in the North, but you would never know by my excessive use of the word y'all. I am pretty sure I have Southern in my blood :)  I am a former teacher and am now a work-at-home, homeschooling mama. Ever since I was a little girl, I have wanted to be a teacher and a mommy and I am so incredibly thankful I have had the opportunity to fulfill both of those dreams.

11 years ago I opened my Teachers Pay Teachers shop where I create educational resources for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary aged kiddos. I am truly so thankful for all this little business has taught me, the friends I have made along the way, and the financial blessing it has been to my family.

Here at Let's Play Learn Grow

  • We are going to play, learn, and grow together on our journey as parents, homeschoolers, and teachers.
  • We are going to celebrate the little things
  • We are going to intentionally pour into the hearts of those God entrusted to us.
  • We are going to live out God’s purpose for our lives.
  • We are going to let go of perfection and focus on making lasting memories with our family.
  • We are going to have more fun with our kids and learn a thing or two along the way.
I am so glad you have stopped by and look forward to sharing ideas and resources with you and your family. Thanks for joining me here.

5 Fun Facts About Heidi

And in case you want to learn a bit more about me, here are 5 random facts about me in no particular order:

  1. Clutter stresses me out which is why I embarked on an entire year of Simplifying my home and I can truly say it has transformed my home, my life, and my stress level.
  2. I am a very crafty, creative person and love being able to express my creativity in many ways, including sewing, organizing, planning parties, and themed movie days among so many other things.
  3. I taught myself to say my ABCs backwards when I was four years old and I can say them incredibly fast, possibly even faster than I can say them forward.
  4. I am an introverted, extrovert. I need my time by myself, but also thrive on time with others. I will talk your ear off if I know you, but will shrink back into my hole if I do not know you...until I get to know you and then I cannot guarantee I will be quiet haha
  5. I always thought I wanted a large house, but over this last year I have come to realize I want more than anything to downsize to a small home (with lots of well planned storage...something this giant house is lacking).
If you have made it this far. YAY! Thanks so much for being here. I hope you will stick around and check out all my blog and shops have to offer. Thanks for stopping by and have fun playing, learning, and growing with your kids.
