HOW TO SET UP
To start, you will need to download the free file from below. This file is an editable file that allows you to personalize each page with your child's information. You will need Powerpoint to use and edit this file.Page 1 in the file is your cover page. Here you will customize it with your child's name and year of graduation.
Page 2 is a decorative page you can use as a decoration for the first day of school or you can also use it for pictures on the first day of school.
All other pages in the file are to be used for keeping a record of the first days of school or any information you would like to include. I use this page as a way to have a physical copy of our first day of school picture, log information about when our first day of school was, teacher (who happens to be me since we are homeschooling), and I will probably even start asking the kids a fun question every year to see how their answer changes through the years. You can add anything at the top that you would like to include via Powerpoint.
WHAT TO INCLUDE IN THE MEMORY BOOK
Up to this point in our homeschool journey, I have only stored our first day of school pictures, first day questionnaire (from This Reading Mama), and first day hand print art in the keepsake binder, but as we enter our first year of official homeschooling, I will be starting to keep other special projects and things we want to hold onto in the binder as well.If it is something that you do not want to punch holes in, simply grab a clear page protector and slip the projects down inside to keep them safe and together with the rest of your school memories.
