Ocean Themed Wall Display

Ocean Art Wall Display

The last couple months we have been learning all about the ocean. It has been the perfect theme for the summer and has worked so well with our crazy summer schedule. I have been giving snippets of our Ocean themed wall every couple days on Instagram and we are finally ready to reveal the entire project to you.

This ocean wall has been so fun to add to as we worked through our Ocean theme. While our homeschool room is being constructed this wall resides in our dining room so you can imagine most of our dinner conversations over the last couple months have been all about the different ocean animals Little Miss 2 has completed and added to her wall. At the start of our unit, our wall consisted of green streamer seaweed and paper bubbles.

And throughout our unit, we added many different ocean animals to our wall.

and finally our Fine Motor Jellyfish which we used ribbon and a painted styrofoam bowl to create and after punching holes around the bowl Little Miss strung the ribbon through to create her jellyfish.

And Im sure you are curious what the whole thing looks like all together. Well here is our completed Ocean Theme Wall Display.

She has loved every second of this project and I love how the whole wall turned out. It was the perfect way to display all of her artwork from our theme and opened up discussion daily. Lots of learning and lots of fun was had. I don’t want to tear it down, but we have to make room for more learning fun to start next week during our first week of our Tot School Curriculum.

Here’s a side by side look of the before and after.
