I am always looking for fun thematic activities that I can do with the kids that helps them with their motor skills. Cutting is something that Little Miss needs lots of practice with yet, but the more she practices the better and easier it gets.
One of my favorite parts of this whole thing you may ask? It is completely free if you have kid scissors and glue on hand already.

YOU WILL NEED:
-Paint chips in a variety of colors
-Scissors to cut out and assemble the carrots
AND HERE IS HOW YOU MAKE THEM:
Start by picking up some paint chip cards from your local store if you don’t already have some at your house.
Cut out a carrot shape across several chips so that there are cutting lines to follow.
Take a green (or any color) paint chip card and cut some small green chunks to use as the carrot top and cut slits almost the whole way down to form the “grass” at the top and then glue to the carrots.
Let your kids cut along the carrot lines and then trim the “hair” of the carrot. Fun spring fine motor practice for the win.
