We are so excited to begin our preschool journey and to kick it off we will be doing a month long weather theme. We wanted to try out a test month just to make sure the plans worked for us and to have some time to tweak things to officially start preschool in the fall. You can read more about what we will be doing for the rest of summer and more about the curriculum here.
We will be completing our weather unit during the month of May, but if you are stumbling upon this after we have started or during another month you most certainly can still complete it. Our plans are merely a guide for you to use and tweak as needed.
Pinterest is a fantastic resource for gathering ideas. Each of our themes can be found towards the bottom of our Pinterest page. Many of the activities we will be completing during this unit can be found on our weather theme pinterest board, as well as inspiration for many others you could use. We would love to have you follow along with us for inspiration for teaching your little ones.
Our plans for our unit are available for download below and are in a pdf format. Each week is mapped out in a table format followed by a page that describes what each of the activities are.
If, at any time, you have a question about what something is or need help with a supply for something we are doing, do not hesitate to send us an email or message via social media and we would be more than happy to help you out.
Some of our activities through the month will come from our Weather Theme Preschool learning packs available in our Teachers Pay Teachers Store.
You can find a comprehensive supply list of things that we use and love on our homeschool supply list post. Some activities require more specific supplies, but our list covers the majority of things that will be needed throughout our curriculum.
For More Information on our entire preschool curriculum and to see other themes and posts as they are posted you can check out our Preschool Curriculum Page.
We post regularly to our @macntaters_playlearngrow instagram page and would love to have you follow our adventures. We will use the hashtag #mntpreschool to keep track of all our learning fun.
