DIY Food Signs for A Winnie the Pooh Party

DIY Winnie the Pooh Party Food Signs

We recently celebrated my little girl’s 2nd birthday and had a Winnie the Pooh Party for her. One of my favorite parts of the whole party, besides celebrating my sweet girl, was the DIY food signs I made for each of the foods we had. You can see all the signs and all the foods we had on her Winnie the Pooh Party post.

Give your Winnie the Pooh Birthday Party or Winnie the Pooh Baby Shower that Hundred Acre Wood touch with these DIY Foods Signs. They are super simple to make and add the perfect touch to your boy or girl birthday party or baby shower.

Here is a tutorial for how to make the signs in case you want to have a Winnie the Pooh party.

SUPPLIES:

(Aff. Links are included. Read full disclosure here.)

-some form of base (plastic veggie cup, bottom of a plastic cup cut off, floral foam etc.)

-moss (I got ours from the Dollar Tree.)

-popsicle sticks

-hot glue

-black marker

I wanted to make them look like signs you would see in the Hundred Acre Wood so I picked up some moss from the Dollar Tree and used popsicle sticks to represent the wood.

I started out by using my Exacto knife and cut a slit in the bottom of little veggie cups I have saved for various projects. These were the perfect base, but you could also cut off the bottom of a plastic cup. The veggie cups were the perfect size already so this saved me from having to cut the cup.

I then stuck a popsicle stick down into the slit, which wasn’t very big, so the stick stood nicely in the veggie cup and didn’t need glued.

I then took hot glue and added some to the veggie cup in small sections and added the moss all around the cup.

I used a sharpie marker to write the different labels on two other popsicle sticks and then hot glued them to the one standing up in the veggie cup.
