Frog Life Cycle Sequencing Activities
These engaging and hands on learning activities are perfect for helping students learn about and understand the Frog Life Cycle.
Frog Life Cycle Poster & Sequencing Poster
This poster is included in the Sequencing Pack in both color and black and white. I suggest laminating the colored poster to use when teaching all about the Frog Life Cycle with your children and students. You can give students a copy of the black and white one and they can color each of the stages of the frog life cycle in.
In addition to the poster, you can use the pieces included to create your own cut and paste version of the poster for a class poster or for an assessment activity for your students. Again, this activity is included in both a colored version and a black and white version.
Frog Life Cycle Hat
Sequencing is more fun when you get to wear it on your head. These sequencing hats are fun for kids and accomplish the same thing a sequencing worksheet does, but the result is something fun you can wear.
To create the hats, you simply print out the Life Cycle Hat printable and students cut out the hat and the cards and then glue them into the corresponding spaces on the hat in order of the life cycle. Once done, you adhere the hat together in the back to fit the child's head. Additional headband pieces are included to adapt to different sized heads. Easy peasy. I do suggest if your students are going to color the life cycle cards, that they do so BEFORE gluing them onto the hat in order to make coloring easier.
Frog Life Cycle Sensory Bin
Sensory bins are fun and engaging for toddlers and preschoolers (and if you are my kiddos well beyond those years). You can make a sensory bin for just about any theme or learning activity that you can think of.
We had so much fun with this Frog Life Cycle Sensory Bin. The filler I chose was clear water beads to resemble frog eggs and then I added in the Safari Ltd. Frog Life Cycle set pieces and lily pads made from green craft foam. The kids played in this for hours and used the Frog Life Cycle set pieces to put the stages of the life cycle in order. You can use the Frog Life Cycle figures and match them to the Frog Life Cycle Poster.
