Here is a look at everything included in the Valentine's Day Busy Binder Set.

If you decide to bind them together into a binder or book, I have included a cover page you can use! I have used both binders and Proclick binding spines to bind our busy binders over the years. Both work great. And again, you don't even have to bind them or use Velcro dots. You can use them as individual activities.

Children will have fun playing with playdough as they create their very own conversation heart candy and then practice spelling their sight words, or other common words, by stamping them in the playdough on the heart and then writing the word on the line with this Conversation Heart Stamping activity.

Children will look at each envelope and determine the beginning sound of the pictures on each envelope and then find the matching letter stamp and stamp the envelope with the Mailing Beginning Sounds activity.

This Valentine Pizza Shapes activity was inspired by our Valentine's Day tradition of making heart shaped pizzas. This activity includes two different variations for differentiation. Children will match the shape pepperonis to the blank shapes or to the shape words.

2D and 3D Shape Cupcakes is one of my favorite activities from the Valentine Busy Book set. Children will sort the cupcakes onto the correct cupcake stand by whether it has a 2D shape or 3D shape on it. The cupcakes make me want to go bake some cupcakes.

Visually discriminating between lowercase b,d,p, and q can be difficult for many young learners to do. It takes practice and repeated exposure to the letters in various circumstances for fluency to become easier. This b,d,p,q activity comes with two different versions and has children spinning a spinner, identifying the letter they landed on and then finding it  and either tracing it or cover it over with a manipulative.

Practice pen control and prewriting skills with this fun Bee Mine Valentine tracing sheet.

This Addressing Envelopes activity not only works on your address, but can help walk children through the process of addressing and mailing a letter. It is very important that children learn their address so that if their is ever an emergency they are able to direct someone to them.  Children can practice writing their address on the mat and then can make some Valentine's and address some real envelopes and mail them out to friends and family.

We have already been enjoying these activities and look forward to a month filled with all things hearts and Valentine's Day.
